Protective Factors against Emergency Stress and Burnout in Healthcare and Emergency Workers during Second Wave of COVID-19

Working as healthcare workers (HCWs) and emergency (EWs) during the first wave of COVID-19 has been associated with high levels stress burnout, while hardiness, coping strategies resilience have emerged protective factors. No studies so far investigated these psychological factors second wave. We aimed to verify trend levels, pandemic in Italian by comparing a sample recruited from (N = 240) relating 260). Through an online platform we administered questionnaires measure stress, resilience, hardiness strategies. The results showed that two waves total HCWs EWs did not differ, physical scores were greater. differences found used.
